Across the Wyre by happypat

Across the Wyre

I forgot to post a friends birthday card so popped round to her house to put it through her letterbox.
No photo so I took the back road route home to take today's photo.

Looking across the River Wyre to fields of cows beyond. A bit further back from this view you can se our old fields & our house but not a good place to stop on the road so I kept moving.

Three good things:
1. Delicious meal last night at our wonderful local Inn. T bone streak & onion rings...yummy!
2. Songs of Praise, I love listening to the hymns.
3. Finished a wonderful book called Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah author of The Nightingale. I thoroughly recommend it.
Wonderful composition and great capture, Pat.

Lovely and blue in the sky. We're hoping for more of that after the wettest Sunday in ages. Like your 3 good things. We had great food this weekend and I enjoyed Songs of Praise on iplayer before coming to bed. Now I must try your recommendation for a book ...it's been ages since I read a good book that had nothing to do with work!

The tide must be out on this river. I love to sing along with hymns but there are others around me that do not enjoy hymns. I know all the words from childhood church. We don't see much of Wimbledon here - the TV editors can't like it!
