No photo today folks so am cheating & posting one sent to me from NZ last week.
Our youngest son & family had three nights in Taupo so enjoyed cycling along the lakeside! Looks better in their winter than some days in our wet summer!
The boys are five & two so enjoy cycling with dad & mum.
Three good things:
1. I met the lady & her daughter who are moving into the barn conversion next door, they seemed really nice, mum, dad & two children.
2. Aga on in the kitchen, it's surprisingly chilly tonight.
3. Jimmy Osmond, a lovely charming guy who stole the show on Masterchef.
@julzmaioro I daren't ring our eldest son as he must be sick of all your rain.....last week they had calves 120 so a fair way to go yet. All that rain is not good to work in, I feel sorry for all you calving!
Sharp shadows mean bright sun - lovely to bike in. There is probably a bike trail round Taupo now - they are being put in in so many different places nowadays! Winter can be sunny but of course its cold!
looks like a beautiful day for cycling. I bet the boys had a fantastic time. We are feeling the cold down here too but at least we have a ot summer to look forward to
