It's poured down all day today so a filler photo from last week.
I have a large plastic tub in the attic full of wellies. I never like to throw them away as there's always some different size feet ready to be kept out of the rain. I always ooh & ahh about the small sweet wellies cast off by my kids years ago.
Three good things:
1. On to the next book & plenty of time to read it, only one couple in for B&B tonight.
2. No grass mowing so Harry came with me to help carry the shopping.
3. Blackpool Illuminations switched on last night, it extends the holiday season nicely.
A wonderful array of wellies !! -- been a wellie day here too so a good chance to rest and re energize after my outing yesterday .And now its "Come dancing "!!
Having an attic is dangerous - all that stuff which should be thrown out but you just can't! My life is full of gumboots! Even the last cruise they were so necessary!
@maggiemae you are so right Maggie, that attic is full of excess stuff. I vow to clean it out & have a bonfire of all the old business accounts as soon as B&B gets quiet!
Lovely collection, my kids loved their little red wellies when they were little.

Cute shot of these little wellies. I once went to a posh tack shop in Wiltshire to buy some wellies. I was informed by the very snobby lady that they didn't sell wellies they sold Hunter field boots! :)
Sweeet!! I rather regret giving ours away. Did you see on FB that my old university friend is in charge of art for Blackpool? She commissioned the Comedy Carpet and says there is going to be a 3D light thing on Blackpool Tower? I don't know when it starts - she said it was part of Lightpool - is that the thing?
@judithg I saw that Judith & thought to myself Judith is moving in high circles! I have been so busy recently that stuffi should be googling has passed me by! I need to do my homework re Lightpool! The Comedy Carpet is a massive success so she knows her stuff!
How cute! I know that once I've hung onto things for any good length of time I find it almost impossible to throw away. These make a wonderfully colourful photo Pat!
