This is the rough track that leads into the fields at the end of our lane.
All the fields used to belong to us when we were farming but when we retired we sold them all except one.
The new chap is very accommodating about anyone down the lane walking or exercising their dogs in his fields.
Three good things:
1. My cinema buddy & I have been to see Bridget Jones's Baby. Loved it & I recommend it for a really funny feel good film.
2. We have booked to see Miss Saigon live from London but in the cinema.
3. Loving the bit cooler weather, I can put my jumpers back on!
@jesperani jumpers & winter clothes hide a multitude of sins! @newbank@carolmw Would have loved to have seen it in real life but this will be the next best thing! Looking forward to it!
Nice light leading you into the paddock beyond .. Lovely shot. Hope you go to Bridget soon. Funny I like this time of yeat5 when we can start leaving those jumpers and boots off..
@julzmaioro yes go & see it Julz it's really worth it! We loved it! Change is good it seems regarding the seasons! We need our winter clothes longer than you do? I always felt it was a waste of good money buying summer clothes as we hardly needed much but since I come to NZ in the summer I get more use out of them. Still like my winter stuff better though.
Now that's what you call "just going for a walk"..I have a painting very similar to that, but with a gate and a child climbing over, but the scene is very similar...lost my fav blue cashmere cardi yesterday, but its turned up at reception today,so pleased! ...think I need a few new autumn knits this year tho! ...
A lovely country lane in spite of needing your wellies ! Love the light you have captured beyond the overhanging trees and the distant harvested fields . Lovely to have a walk ,away from it all Pat -- fav
@brennieb So glad you found your cardie Brenda, cashmere must definitely be treasured! Hope you're having a great time, did you go to see Barry Kirwin?
@brennieb my friend was over there too in Jersey with her husband. It was their anniversary & their daughter Helen is Dominic's partner so I'm sure they would be there.
Very inviting Pat, I like all the lush greens and welcoming light at the end. Looks a bit muddy already though, which I'm not keen on when walking, I'm always apprehensive that I might slip and damage my hip that I had replaced last year.
A FAV!
Thank you very much all of you!
