Brian & Harry replacing the rotten posts on the fence keeping the hens in.
It's good for Harry to have help on these jobs.
The little shed belongs to the workmen on the barn next dooor.
Three good things:
1. Sons to help with jobs.
2. Boiled eggs for tea.
3. Taste testing mince pies, Booths, M&S & Morrisons.
4. Lancashire Day.
So come onPat. Who won the mince pie test! It's wonderful having my son nearby again he is great with helping me. Ant can no longer do very much at all so a strong young man is a huge help.
@thistle Yes I agree Joyce, always a help to have someone young but also new better ways of doing things & to bounce ideas off! Thinking you might guess who won the mince pie contest! M&S of course!
Those posts do look a bit rotted at the bottom - an important job! I thought you might have had 'lancashire hot pot' for tea instead of food from the hens who are not going to thank the guys for keeping them in safely!
So good to have sons who are happy to help! It's one of the upside down maths statements. ...One and one is much more than two!!! And so much pleasure shared as well as the job done!!
I could have known this...
