Frosty morning by happypat

Frosty morning

Posting early today as I'm meeting a friend tonight for a meal then the cinema.
Our children used to be at primary school together but we have recently met up again after around 30 years.

Lovely frosty morning with white frost on the roofs & fields.
View from our back door.

Three good things:
1. Harry has been to the village in the little Skoda Citygo courstey car, he was full of praise!
2. Caught up with the bedding ironing that's been sitting in the washing basket over Christmas.
3. Did a bit of catching up 365 commenting during the night when I couldn't sleep.
Great shot with lovely light Pat. Enjoy your evening.

brrrrrr a little too cold for me - enjoy your movie night!

You would have to be so careful you didn't slip on this frosty ground! I hide all my ironing in the cupboard and don't do it till it literally falls out when you open the door! You can't do that with B&B requirements though!

What a difference a hemisphere makes. It was 39 degrees c here yesterday.
Your weather makes it nicer to be indoors because of the cold and ours makes it nicer to be indoors because of the heat.

You had a frosty morning and I had a foggy morning. And I'm catching up on commenting on a sleepless night. We seem to be running on a parallel dimension, Pat. :) Hope you had a wonderful time catching up with your old friend!

@peggysirk We went to see A United Kingdom Peggy. A brilliant true story film about Sereste Khama, a king in Botswana as it's now known as. He married an English girl in the 1940s when apartheid was the norm. All hell broke out as you can imagine, a fascinating story.

I remember reading about that story. Wasn't she an English secretary? I can't remember how they met...will have to do some research. Would love to see that movie.

@peggysirk Yes she worked in some government department in London, I vaguely remember it too. Was a fascinating film.
