I bought these shoes today!
Not a big thing in itself really but for me a big step as they are Hotter shoes!
I have always said I would never be seen dead in a Hotter shop as I class them as old women's shoes!
Had to change my views today as I liked these flat half patent shoes & so comfortable!
I have been having trouble with my feet & the fit of certain more dressed up shoes like a high heel since I broke my ankle last year.
In desperation I ventured into the Hotter shop & came out with these, a bargain at £30!
Look ok with skinny trousers!
I have had to eat humble pie to certain people!
Three good things:
1. I found a new edit programme to make a collage.
2. Humble pie!
3. All clear from the dentist this morning!
@gijsje It's called PsExpress Bep. I could never get a collage to work or me since I couldn't get Snapsead but this one was easy for the collage thing!
@julzmaioro No these are for night time with black dressed up stuff! I have my trusty leather loafers for travel. Bought from a very nice NZ chain of shops which I can't remember the name of!
@kwind I like the sound of cute Kim! Not a brand you would know but generally thought of here as the older woman's shoe which to be truthful I am in theory if not in mind!
I only wear Hotter shoes and sandals and have done for several years. They do have some very nice styles, and as I have broad feet, they're the only shoes I can wear in comfort
Since I broke my leg comfy shoes are a must. Heels are out! I am a fan of brogues. Apparently Twiggy has lots of them so that will do for me! They look really comfy.
@chris17 I have two pairs of brogues & they are so comfy Christine but it's the dressing up bit I'm struggling with so hopefully these will look smart enough when I'm out in the evening!
They actually look as comfy as slippers but being glossy like this would be acceptable in front of the Queen! Easy to slip off and on too! Hope they have enough instep support for all that walking up and down in big airports!
They look comfy. I have to have comfy shoes these days. Since I fractured my ankle I now have one ankle fatter than the other. Luckily I can wear sandals most of the year instead of shoes, but shoes are more difficult with one foot fatter than the other.
@maggiemae Oh I shan't be wearing these in the airport maggie, I have my soft leather NZ ones for travelling. I don't even expect I will bring them to NZ, sandals & the NZ ones will be the order of the day, plus walking shoes too of course!
I really like them Pat and as you say they will look good with the trusty black pants. I'm all for comfort shoes too and live in my old faithful Birkenstock sandals during Summer. Seems we can by Hotter shoes here in Aus on line but I really need to try shoes on before I buy
I would love to be wearing those shoes at the moment, Pat - but, alas - am stuck in winter boots for now. Sigh!
They look classy and wonderfully comfortable!
Ha ha that made me laugh! You're lucky you've lasted so long in proper shoes! I've only recently noticed issues with my feet (burgeoning bunion) but I've had to wear 'sensible' shoes all my life as they're so short and wide! These are very nice!
@boxplayer I've been back & bought two more pairs, going to chuck out all the shoes I have under the bed that I haven't worn for years but always hopeful that I could! Reality check!
@cruiser They have an inner sole Chris that you can take out, ideal for me that has one foot bigger than the other! Some of them are very old fashioned but if you pick out a more modern style they are bliss!
@teiko It is a big step I agree but luckily flats are so popular at the moment it's easier. I went back to the shop & bought two more pairs, a flat pair fir everyday & a black very plain pair with a higher heel for dressed up days.

#1. Would you be so kind as to share your new edit programme?
Thanks!
