Some lovely shops in Garstang, independent shops of every kind you could wish for, I hardly ever go into the big towns these days.

Three good things:
1. Church cleaning this morning then a coffee afterwards.
2. A lovely new floor in the top bathroom.
3. I have cancelled the rubbish plumber who asked me to measure for the shower, I am not a plumber! This guy was recommended by the floor fitter & is coming to measure up tonight! Some action!
A lovely scene of a country market place -- Looks a sunny day -- as here too ! I don't blame you for cancelling the lazy or crafty b...... !! If things did not fit then the onus would be on you and no come back on him !
@maggiemae oh we have fun Maggie & there's lovely coffee & cake after! On,t takes us about an hour. My cinema friend was missing today as she's in Las Vegas!
Our High Street in Southend is a sad place now - all Poundland shops, cheap clothing and coffee shops. I only dash in to go to M & S occasionally and then get out. Lovely photo and interesting, quirky shops Pat, must be a pleasure to shop there.
@jackie8 it's very sad that our lovely towns are going down hill. The same all over, sometimes I wonder atbthe sanity of our planners. No wonder we go to out of town shops, they should have free parking & regenerate. So many houses going up everywhere but all the middle of towns dying!
