We tried out the new linen bedding last night, I loved it Harry said, 'worse nights sleep I've ever had!'
Well every time I looked he was asleep!!
Harry does not like change!
Give him a few days & he will be fine. I must say I thought the linen lovely, I will just see how it washes & then decide whether to get another set.
Three good things:
1. Wild weather but cosy inside!!
2. Some plants bought for the garden trough.
3. We are nearly at the end of this general election reporting, I am heartily sick of it! I am very interested in politics actually & will be up all night on Thursday but enough is enough!
I've always heard linen was a perfect bedding material, hope that is true for you (and Harry). I thought America was the only country that ran every citizen into the ground with the long, loud, terrible pre-election rhetoric!
@louannwarren we seem to have been having elections & referendums for ever Lou Ann! All scoring points off each other plus the terrorist attacks, it's all very stressful! If my preferred party doesn't get into government, I might emigrate!!
Mu hubby hates new bedding, or newly washed bedding.... has to be a few days old to be comfy for him..... whereas I love a new fresh, clean washed bed! Hubby has booked friday off work so he can do an all nighter on thursday.... one of us needs to do in kids in morning so I'll be heading to bed at some point!!
Smiled at the response to the linen!
And yes politics is very wearing right now. We've had even more up here in recent years.
Wonder what the outcome will be on Thursday.
I love the first day in fresh washed sheets. I also love cold sheets, and the smoothness of fresh sheets reminds me of an unschooled, new tub of ice cream.
@quietpurplehaze I think & am hoping that if I dry it properly by hanging on the line well I shall avoid too many creases plus it think it's supposed to be the relaxed casual look! I am used to ironing sheets anyway!
Ha ha, typical bloke thing. Considering we have spent most of our lives with change being a military family and have moved house 16 times, lived in 3 different countries etc. David doesn't like change either. Well not change within the home. It takes him ages to adapt to different furniture and fittings etc.
I find that most men complain about change - I know that Bruce hates change as well.
I just wait until he is gone a few days, then make the change, and say "I told you so!" when he comes back and says he likes it!
@phil_howcroft Ha ha Phil! Every time he has a cold or similar, it's alway 'the worst cold he's ever had' ! Never changes!! Must be a man thing if you're the same! I just ignore it!!

Aren't these men fussy?
