All to ourselves!

Dot & I went to the cinema today to see Churchill.
Bad reviews but we really enjoyed it!
Afterwards it's been such a hot day we walked across the road & sat on the steps of the promanade.
The beach was pretty empty so this family had plenty of space!

31deg C today!!

Three good things:
1. We did have heavy rain this morning & the fresh smell of rain is lovely after such dry weather.
2. Flat peaches.
3. Shorts.

Love your shot - Nigel and I were on for a beach trip today but Adam slept in till after lunch (good - better mood!) so we stayed home - we are getting worn out by this prolonged hot spell now but I think it breaks tomorrow otherwise I'll be off back to the LIDO.
