This is the Lancaster canal as it flows along side the A6 at Bilsborrow.
My friends house is one of the ones on the right & her garden goes right down to the canal, they can sit there & watch the barges & boats go by.
I have done very little walking over the last few weeks so this afternoon while Harry was visiting nearby I took myself off down the canal path in a loop round & finished off back where I started.
Three good things:
1. Exercise, if reluctantly!
2. Half price Sabatier knives.
3. A new hydrangea for my birthday pot.
How wonderful to have the garden running down to the canal I would love this , as my home in Wales as a child had a tributary river running at the bottom of the garden -- loved it ! How wonderful to get a new Hydrangea dare I ask what colour ( I read the article, -- interesting , thanks )
