Morning constitutional

Looking more like Spring!

Much nicer going out for a walk this weather although we have had thick snow over in east Lancashire today. None here but our granddaughter Lydia couldn't go to her placement in Accrington again this morning.

Three good things:
1. I tidied three drawers out this afternoon.
2. Sewed on the ties on one of the kitchen cushions, it was driving me mad keep falling on the floor!
3. Was the reason I tidied the drawers out looking for said ties, killed two birds with one stone! 😃

lovely. great place to go for your morning constitutional . we had bits of sleet this morning. but did not last long. so was a bit dullish and gloomy when we went to Rudyard. i have done part of my wardrobe out. chucked a few things, cannot sit and do nothing !

Looks dry for a good walk even if still wintry with those bare branches. Good to tidy out drawers - think we need a rubbish bag somewhere that we can continually put unwanted stuff!

I am still laughing at your comment on Maggiemae's about the Blackpool seagulls! I had the same experience on the Isles of Scilly. Put my sandwich next to me on the bench for a millisecond while I pulled my camera out and the opportunist gull had the whole thing in his greedy beak and was gone! This is a lovely image, so Springlike. Amazing that the snow was so near and yet nothing there.
