We were in Tralee when I noticed this painting of a cat on the park wall.
It was quite small but rather a nice touch.
It reminded me a little of the brilliant works of Banksy who paints on walls in London mostly, a secret artist no one knows the identity of! Allegedly,I'm sure some people know but he has no name except Banksy & his works are worth a lot of money.
Three good things:
1. A take away pizza tonight from the new village pizza shop!
2. I ordered a new shower head from a firm advertising on FB. A bit risky but the reviews were good. It arrived yesterday roughly packed all the way from China. We have a bedroom on the third floor so the pressure hasn't been all that good compared with the other bathrooms. I tried the shower this morning & it's amazing! So pleased with it, money well spent! A switch on the side so you just move it along to change actions. Could have bought two for a better price...I wish I had done!
3. Grand Designs on tonight!
Cute cat.. Banksy had an Exhibition in Auckland a few months back.. bet he got the money from that.. shower head sounds great .. always a worry when you order on line..
@julzmaioro Did he now, I never knew he did proper exhibitions, not as secrets as he makes out then! Perhaps he thinks he's far enough away not to be noticed over here! You're right it was a risk & it did take over two weeks to arrive! I would have been worried if it was a lot of money!
I have several prints from the artist G W Birks. His ‘trademark’ was a black cat which appears somewhere in all his pictures. This shot of yours reminds me of that cat.
@gamelee Could be Lee, there was no inscription but I felt it wasn't just a random drawing by anybody, it looked planned & it was in the perfect place. Interesting!
A lovely wall art ! Pat - clever to notice this , but then when in photography we are much more aware of the smaller details that others may pass by without seeing !
I'll now have to google as I've heard of him but thought he was only in NZ somehow! A very sweet capture. I bought something on line and they said let me know if it had't arrived within 7 days. it hadn't so I emailed the seller and they said it would take 5 weeks! I cancelled the order and they refunded the money!
@onewing You're right Babs, there are a few of them, I should have looked for more. I feel really chuffed I saw one, it was quite small & easily missed! Thanks for info!
