A bit late posting this picture but it was the first time I had been in town since last week! I thought this effect rather nice. Half day closing in Garstang so it’s quite quiet today.
Harry & I are off to Edinburgh for a couple of days so might not have time to post but I’ll sure get plenty of pictures!
Three good things:
1. The Aga man has been & sorted everything out hopefully. It’s not been running right for ages even though we had it serviced every year. He was here two hours but has really given it a massive going over. The biggest thing was the dial to turn the heat up was broken & we had been using it the wrong way round. Loads more insulation too so I am excited to see what the difference is as it heats up.
2. Loved the way Robert came in & said ‘now what’s wrong with her?’ I never thought of my cooker having a gender before!
3. Bought a few goodies to take with us...special chocolate etc!
A wonderful tribute and it looks so good against the white of the Royal Oak . So good to have the Aga serviced before the winter - hope "she" will behave herself well for you now ! Enjoy Edinburgh !
Love the photo and so good your Aga is fit for purpose again. Enjoy Edinburgh. So much to see and perhaps Princes Street gardens will have the German market in full swing. Our girls found lots of lovely gifts for Christmas there in past years..I'm sure you will love it.
@sarah19 We have had a mini tourist guide meeting last night with ideas where to visit Sallie! The Grass Market, Britannia & the Old Town of course plus The White Stuff flag store where we have been told to try stuff on in their their wardrobe changing rooms with different themes! X
Thank you all, sorry for the bulk reply again, trying to get organised for tomorrow & want to watch Masterchef & Apprentice too. Early night hopefully, we have to leave here at 8am, Cathy is taking us to Lancaster on her way to work. The I’m loking forward to Edinburgh, we have been before but only on a day trip so will be able to explore much more! @beryl
She is behaving well but not much hotter than before yet, not a good time to leave her so we are not turning her up until we get back on Saturday night just in case she overheats.
A wonderful tribute. Glad you got the Aga fixed. Have a great time in Edinburgh. We nearly got posted near there once during our RAF days, but they cancelled the posting 5 weeks before we were due to move.
I really must get into Garstang in the New Year.
Have a great time in Edinburgh!!

Enjoy Edinburgh. We were there in March and loved the place. Nice tribute shot.
