Anthony, Jo & the boys had a night in the Waihohonu Hut on the Tongaririo northern circuit Crossing.
A big adventure for them & the other families they went with. Doesn’t look like the weather was at its best as all in wet weather gear but it was great,y enjoyed by all.
I liked this shot of Finn hiding from his brother .....that cap has been on both their heads!
Three good things:
1. Washing dry & a lovely afternoon by the fire.
2. My other B&B was as cross as I was at the non appearance of his fellow B&Ber & wife! The restaurant was not as accommodating as me & charged then an extra £100 for the absentees meal! A party of 22 had to dig deep & pay up!
3. We have a great line up for next summers Lytham Festival! Kylie Minogue, Rod Stewart, Michael Ball, Sheridan Smith & others. I have no idea how they are going to accommodate everyone on that fairly small Lytham Green! Five day tickets practically sold out already!

Wow that's a bit of a steep no show charge.. especially when it was such a big party.. bet none of them go back there .. will cost the restaurant alot more than the £100 they got..
@huvesaker@julzmaioro I thought it a bit steep too & he had rung the restaurant beforehand , he never rang me!! Apparently his wife is ill....funny that as the chap that came to me turned up without wife too as she was ill! I smell a fish, perhaps they didn’t fancy a diving convention!
