Today was drone day!
Fascinating to watch as we have never seen one working before.
The chap was very helpful & let us watch how it worked & told us where to stand so we wouldn’t be in the picture.
A slight buzzing noise & it was up in the air. Paul who is doing the barn up next door was warned first in case he got a fright & fell off his ladder.
Craig was mowing his grass & I think quite taken aback to see it flying overhead!
The tools of the estate agents are wonderful indeed!
Three good things:
1. A better day than we hoped!
2. A visit to the village beauty place to get my nails & eyebrows sorted.
3. Fresh fruit.
A lovely set of images to show the photographer in action. @julzmaioro and I were talking to a real estate photographer the other day and he said a drone is an absolutely necessity for them these days.
A lovely collage to remind you of this exciting day - a great way to advertise your property ! Years ago there used to be a plane that came round and took photos of your property from the air and would then try to sell you the Ariel view of your property !
How amazing is technology these days. David and Jonathan have both had drones but there is a lot of practice required before they can be safely guided up there!!!
Long stories.....one is packed away in our garage!!! Not advisable in Egypt!!
@beryl I had forgotten that Beryl, we used to have them fly over both farms we have lived in. We did buy a couple too, great record of work done on the farm.....new buildings & alterations etc.
@onewing They told us they are the property of the estate agents Babs but if course there will be a house sale advert & paperwork. The Estate agents we are using also post on FB too so will share that & save hopefully when it comes up.
@sarah19 Ha ha Sallie drones are not a good subject at Gatwick!
I can completely understand why they are a very controversial piece of equipment especially in Egypt! Even have one in your luggage would be dodgy! The guy doing this said there are new laws coming out towards the end of the year.
Drone flight is controlled here. The times and places you can fly them are very restricted. They do take gorgeous photographs though, once you meet all the governance standards and actually get them up in the air.
