Just a diary shot, no need to comment!
The only photo I have taken over the last couple of days so I’ve had to fall back on this.
You can see the paler bit of wood where my English Tourist Board sign was.
Three good things:
1. Snooker, snooker & more snooker...a good thing for Harry but not so much for me!
2. I like reading so can half heartedly watch & read!
3. The kitchen smells beautiful, a mixture of lilac & stocks!
Nice shot.
I love your #2. Hubby watches snooker for hours; I have my book and sometimes I turn my chair (it's a swivel chair) to the TV and try to make some 'intelligent' remarks...
When the sign goes up - it makes it real doesn't it !! What beautiful smells of have in your Kitchen with the lilacs and stock ! - such clean and fresh perfumes !
It's all go now, hope your house sells quickly. You will be itching to get into your new place.
I used to love watching snooker on tv, but we don't get it out here. I think the people I used to watch were Ray Reardon, Alex Higgins and Steve Davis, so you can tell how long we have lived in Australia, ha ha.
Sorry for group reply, I’m off out for the day!
Yes hoping all goes well & smoothly & in good time, that’s the main thing, would hate to get to winter & we are still here! Just moving less than a mile up the roadLynda but to a doer up bungalow with large garden for Harry’s tractor. It needs lots of work so will have to live elsewhere when work being done. No more b&b in theory but might have odd regulars we know in spare bedroom, will have to see. Thanks for your comments.
All the snooker players you mention Babs were in the real heyday of snooker...who could forget that marathon between Dennis Taylor with the upside down glasses & the other who I forget!
I saw online that your B&B was 'permanently' closed. Give you a bit of breathing space! This corner looks like quality all the way - neat and tidy. I do what you do with snooker, with rugby! Don't really mind as he lets me choose the channel 95% of the time!
My kitchen smells of roasted chestnuts!
We were watching the last part of the snooker....pretty amazing finish.
