They have been getting in the all crop today, that means it’s all harvested head & stalk, it’s a great winter feed.
So hot today....even more later this week, humid too which makes it worse.
Three good things:
1. I have new hearing aids, went for a review today with a new firm...they seem much better & everything seems so loud. I dropped something in the library & nearly jumped out of my skin!
2. They are going to change the cream cushions for grey if I take them back!
3. Lamb chops & mint sauce!
Oooh lamb chops and mint sauce...yummy..we just had some chips and curry sauce in barmouth. Tomorrow night we eating at Norbar..a lovely place we found last year
@lyndamcg They are only NHS ones Lynda. I’ve been wearing hearing aids for almost four years but the company providing* the NHS has changed so today I had new ones from the new people. I didn’t expect that so am really pleased. I can turn them up & down & the batteries last longer. The new firm is called Scrivens.
Beautifully framed! Maybe Ray should try your hearing aid provider. He gets new ones and they are hardly better than the old ones. Lamb and mint sauce - yes!
Ooh , it's that time already I do not know where the months go - A lovely framed view of the country-side under a blue sky - idyllic Pat . No 3 sound mouth-watering ! enjoy !
To see such a beautiful landscape around you must be pleasing as opposed to new housing! You sound as if you are wearing your aids all the time. John doesn't and I know everytime I say something, I have to say it twice!
Lovely photo....we've noticed lots of bales in fields recently which seems earlier than some years, but not being very knowledgeable...
Good to have positive hearing aid story. My Mum's have proved tricky recently as she finds it difficult to get them in place by herself!!
@maggiemae I think my family are glad these HA are better than the last ones maggie, I sometimes never heard them properly even with the old ones in...it’s very annoying after a while having to repeat everything & missing stuff, I get annoyed with myself too! Hoping these are a great improvement all round.
@happypat Nice to hear that from your position! John just can't get anything with "s's, sh's, 't's, and 'f's! Now I never mentioned there might be an 'i' in these!
A great shot the way you have framed the combine with the tree branches.
Harvest is a great time of the year. So good to get feed in.
But rather sad to know that winter is marching slowly on its way as well!
