Lydia is at this minute at Bridgewater Hall having her graduation....the last one of the day!
She got a first in her Speech & Language degree so she is happy!
Three good things:
1. Special days to reward hard work.
2. I changed the cocoon chairs cushions to grey.
3. I have been sitting out in said chair this afternoon but it’s so hot...33degC in the shade!
Congratulations to Lydia! Nice capture of her on this important day. Our darling son opted to stay out in Indonesia rather than come home to officially graduate. So we're having a weekend in London with him next month to celebrate. No gowns and mortarboards for him - or us! Such a shame, but his choice, so we're respecting that.
Congratulations! Lydia has done so well! It's a landmark day and lovely when they are together with fellow students....some they keep in touch with and then there are others!
Enjoy your chair....this warm weather is extraordinary. Managed to use our patio table for eating out last night....
@jamibann Funnily enough Lydia almost didn’t bother going. She said lots of her fellow students weren’t going either. Even on the day she almost changed her mind & only with pushing a little bit from us did she decide to go. Enjoyed it when she got there I expect, I haven’t heard any different. We wanted the photo & they work so hard but Indonesia would definitely have come before graduation ceremonies!
A heat wave here too, 32C. Even higher temperatures tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.
