Kinloch a very small resort on the northern shores of Lake Taupo where my youngest son lives. It has a shop, cafe/restaurant, rural fire station & a harbour filled with very fancy boats.
You can also see the pontoon to the left of the photo. A platform that all the kids have great fun swimming out to in the summer. Max can swim out easily & Finn can with his floaty vest for security, its actually further out than it looks here.
We had a picnic on the shore one evening & Ants friend has a small dog, I can’t remember it’s name unfortunately but she was a very sweet girl.
She decided to go walkabout herself along the shore line.
The seagulls were dive bombing her but she wasn’t frightened even though she has very short legs!
Only good thing I can think of today!
1. A very pleasant day catching up with jobs but most of the day reading the papers & keeping warm by the fire.
What a stunning scene Pat - love the layers and the moody colours - until I read your intro I did not notice the little dog , but see now why the gulls were swooping !
