On my way home today I passed our local Agricultural College. We had to wait a while so they could move the heifers across the road from their winter quarters to the fields, they were a bit frisky & there were quite a few turning them into the right gateways. Quite late for cows to go out so I think they must have got a crop of silage off the field first.
Taken through the car windscreen
Three good things!
1. A vase of white tulips.
2. A slight easing of lockdown....not that you would notice but hopefully the garden centres will open on Wednesday....I daren’t think what the queues will be like...doubt I will be going!
3. Our local Inn is doing takeaway meals to order!
4. Our son in laws birthday!
A lovely rural picture. I watched BBC and saw your PM's speech.
A slight easing indeed. Primary schools here opened their doors today; my granddaughters were very happy...
@gijsje Ha ha I bet the parents were too Bep, all this home schooling is not easy! I was amazed to hear from our neighbours on Friday how much they have to do. The school sends so much work they have to structure the day as if they were at actual school!
Lovely vintage look to this shot.. I am pretty excited that we are going to level 2 on Thursday.. see all the family.. and have a hair cut booked... just hope people are sensible though
@julzmaioro I bet you are Julz....our hair salons aren’t opening until the 6th July at the earliest & later if there is a rise in numbers! Can you imagine what we are all going to look like! 21st February I had mine cut last! New hairstyle I think as all my layers will have grown out! Exciting for you...not sure if Ants boys are so keen to go back to school!
Lovely, rural shot, it’s my husbands birthday today and we’re so glad we can receive visitors ( with the 1,5 mtrs in mind) but no more than 3 at a time so we have 3 “ batches” 😉
@jamibann Do you know Issi I was sure it wasn’t a cherry tree when I looked closer & thought it more like Chestnut tree with the candles of white flowers but now I look the bird tree up I think you’re right. I have never heard of a Bird Cherry Tree before but it does look like one. Will look closer when I next go past. That won’t be soon as from tomorrow that road will be blocked by traffic to a garden centre that is opening ...a narrow road so will be a nightmare to be avoided!!
What a lovely rural capture! I am wondering if Garden Centres will be open.......it's been rumoured but haven't heard for sure. I shall wait once they do til the rush has gone!
