Our very favourite flowers. Always reminds me of Cathy & Garth’s wedding day as we used loads of stocks in church...the perfume was just lovely.
Three good things:
1. Good new viewers.
2. It was sunny & warm for sitting out while they were here...rain an hour later so just in time!
3. Our own new potatoes with butter.
How lovely and I can imagine the perfume How lovely and cottagey they look in your Kitchen with the blue and white table cloth and all the blue and white china !
The stocks do have a marvellous scent - this would naturally be the best smell for prospective buyers. After all you can't be making bread in the oven or having coffee on the go, all the time!
Stocks, 'double' flowers - beautiful. The 'single' ones are not so nice. They used to be very popular in Malta and many were cut to decorate Altars of Repose during Easter time. I had some last year but none was 'double'. I like the angle of this shot which includes part of your lovely house,
I went out specially to buy them last night....thought they would look lovely on the kitchen table...you have to try,
How quickly things can change on the viewers dept!!!
I must look out for stocks up this way!! So pretty on the table.
