Hardy fuchsia

This fuchsia in the front garden has done really well this year. Lots of flowers & buds still to open.

Three good things:
1. I have spent the day messing about with the wall in the hallway. Crumbly plaster hidden by a bookcase but it has been noticed a couple of times! I went to Wickes & bought the necessary ready mixed plaster & have done the first stage. Waiting for it drying then the last layer tomorrow.
2. Roast chicken in the oven.
3. Tweezers.

Lovely fushia.. You are a real 'Handywoman'.. good for you.. Tweezers came in handy for me the other day when I got a prickle in my foot on the terrace through thick socks..

@julzmaioro Ha ha yes they would do but I needed them for a stray hair! Not a good look! I like a bit if handy work & I have done some in my time! Painting, decorating, stripping wood & that’s only inside!

Th fuchsia lasts for so long - a really good garden plant. Responds to severe pruning too! Lovely focus on the flower and its dripping stamen!

They are beautiful flowers. I never used to have much luck growing them in the UK though. The one plant we had flowered like wildfire and then died.
