This is the new member of our daughters family.
Lydia & Cathy went to meet her today, she is a Cocker Spaniel.
Not old enough to leave mum yet but she is so gorgeous, fat & cuddly.
Name not quite decided yet but they are working on it.
Three good things:
1. Cathy, Lydia & I had lunch out at the Cartford courtesy of Rishi..... last day today for the discount.
2. Harry & SIL & Roger were putting up the new garden fence!
3. I’ve had a sore leg for a few weeks, the muscle behind my knee. For a couple of days now it’s been lots worse but this morning it seems to be a bit better.
I felt old today...struggled getting in the car, had to wear our masks so struggled with no hearing aids in & no lip reading....life gets difficult occasionally...I will be ok next time!
She is very cute.. someone else to 'Pet sit'.. sure you will love that..
Masks are a pain.. but necessary at the moment.. Hope your pains improve quickly.
Awww she’s darling. Such a sweet photo. I use mask ties. The top ones tie high on the back of my head. The bottom ones tie on my neck. They don’t go near my new hearing aids, this has worked well so far.
Cocker Spaniels are lovely - friendly and happy - ask Judith - @judithg ! Somehow old age creeps up on you - I struggle to get out of the car too and the other day when I had a bath for the first time for a while, I couldn't get out of it! Stranded whale!
@maggiemae ha ha I know the feeling! My leg is improving all the time, I can get downstairs this morning using both legs one behind the other....as for the bath we will only have an orange bath to use when we first move into new place. No shower but I checked & bath has handles!! Might put a temporary shower in if we have to wait long for planning & builder!
I have now moved to a plastic visor face shield. A nice long one so it covers well. I can wear my hearing aids, glasses don't steam up and I can smile at people again!
Sorry about your aches and pains. My old GP used to say "if you are over 50 and you wake up in the morning and nothing hurts, you've died!"

@casablanca Well that’s a new one but I bet your doctor is right! I do think those visors Look more comfortable & solves the problem of the hearing aids! Normally it doesn’t bother me when shopping as we don’t stand & chat just now...in & out ASAP but in company it is difficult.
