Taken on Sunday evening by Lydia’s boyfriend Mathew it shows our daughter Cathy & son in law Garth together with grandson Jack & granddaughter Lydia.
They all went for a meal to celebrate Cathys birthday.
We were there in spirit!
Three good things:
1. Lots of painting today touching up & filling any holes where pictures had been hung.
2. Harry has been bowling...last go I would imagine!
3. Lots of emails back & forth today from solicitor re our purchase & sale. Getting somewhere! Our buyer has been ringing too, they are desperate to sign up!
Such a lovely family Pat. Shame you couldn't be there. We have a lot of family birthdays later this month and during November. I hope we'll be able to manage some limited meet ups. A friend was 90 this month. They have four children. The children are having a weekend each when they come for lunch in a tent in the garden!!
@maggiemae Oh it’s a long winded job here I can tell you...lots of sales going on now so everything is delayed....can’t get hold of survey chaps, removal companies etc! Looking like contract signing & completion all same week. Then we have to wait for our purchase at same time!

Hope everything goes through soon with the house sale. What a long winded performance it is in the UK. Glad we live in Australia, everything is so quick here. From start to finish everything can be settled in either a 30 day, 60 day or 90 day settlement.
