Duncan the dog walker

I went out for my lockdown walk this morning & met this young man on his daily dog walking job. I asked him how he kept them all from muddling up the dog leads...experience he said!
They were all quite young & I was surprised how well they walked....just think of Connie & the nightmare it would be walking her with four others!

Talking of dogs there are lots of fireworks going off around us at this moment. Big bangs & flashes....I feel for the dogs all along this road. We aren’t used to it so it startled us when we first heard them.

Three good things:
1. The best good thing, we have become great grandparents. Called Nina she arrived a week ago but has spent most of the week in intensive care & the special baby unit but home safely now in New Zealand.
2. A good walk.
3. We have found a tree branch to put a couple of bird feeders up.
Wow, great pic! Perfect timing with them two of them seemingly smiling at the camera!

Good news for Nina safe at home now!
What happens if he needs to pick up after more than one of the dogs at the same time??!!

What hands full - The dogs seem to be quite docile and happy to go for their walk and exercise with their leader ! A great candid Pat . With no official bonfire , there seems to be lot of loud bangs going off around us already !

@carolmw @beryl I have never heard so many bangs...I really thought that bonfire night would be non existent this year...the blooming things are still banging away! Perhaps you’re right Beryl & they are having the celebrations at home this year! 😨

They all look so happy - including the walker! Mature dogs too so there would be no fighting or playing! No bangs here in our neighbourhood! Not even a peep!

@sarah19 Thank you Sallie...she is so welcome! X

@maggiemae Strangely when I asked he said they were all very young...he called them puppies but I would say older....the hairy one was the oldest. I imagine they soon get used to walking with others.

@lyndamcg It’s always quite a sight to see them all walking nicely...we have not got to that stage yet with Connie! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I like the curious look in the dogs' faces. I bet they are considering whether to like the new neighbour or not. Beautiful capture.
