Our newly cleared garden of three years coverings of brambles is surprising us with lots of new plants.
These Fritillaries have popped up in the last three days. There are more coming up over the whole of the bottom area plus bulbs & some flowers I don’t recognise.
We plan to plant more trees here & in the autumn we shall plant lots of bulbs.
A sort of woodland area hopefully.
Three good things:
1. Even though it’s Easter Sunday we have had left over fish & chips from the other night. Really good they were too after being in the oven to get hot & crisp again.
2. We had a walk to the bungalow to check out progress. The plastic is down ready for the first concrete fix on Tuesday.
3. Jack has been researching kitchen appliances for me. He has sent me an email with all details from Which magazine on the pros & cons of ovens, hubs, washing machines, extractor fans etc!
Fabulous!!! I love these. I'd not been aware of them until our friend Louise showed us the ones in her garden in early days of 365. 😊
What a useful grandson Jack is!!
Love your frittalaries.. I tried to grow them in my garden but our winters don't get cold enough I don't think and they never came up again..
You are lucky to have a 'research' person..
These are beautiful. You are so lucky to have them I believe they are difficult to establish. I have one in a pot, with 4 flowers. Bought this time last year
You are going to have so much fun designing your new garden area. Love the sound of woodland. And how awesome that Jack is doing appliance research for you. Good to have some help and input!
