The big ones! by happypat

The big ones!

Just a few more photos off Charlie’s Convoy last night.
It’s been raining most of the day so no photos taken today!
It did cross my mind in the night that there were a lot of people in the village last night & to none of us I expect did it cross our minds to socially distance or wear our masks.....we have come a long way this last few weeks. The first time we have been in what constitutes a crowd for months if not over a year.

Three good things:
1. Trifle...I love it!
2. My ear plugs when Formula One is on!
3. It’s a lot warmer now the rain has come!
A great collage of the event - I am sure they made a lot of money for the charity ! Terribly wet day here too !

@peggysirk We do Peggy....that’s why we love it here but I think most small places are the same thankfully, I’m sure you have equal support in your country when the chips are down.

@julzmaioro Ha ha yes there were a few vintage ones...they kept up fine. I think it got strung out a bit on the quieter roads...there is a YouTube clip of the whole lot but they all caught up as they got to the twisty corners coming into a great Eccleston.
Look forward to your event. There are some wonderful machines out there!

Beautiful collage and shots. Yesterday I was watching the first stage of the Giro d'Italia and there were big crowds watching this very popular cycle race and I said to myself "Oh My God, I hope we will not go back to the bad times."

An interesting collection of vehicles. Does everyone come out to watch?

Wonderful!

Trifle - yum! If packed Cambridge is anything to go by your crowds won’t have posed a risk - and thank goodness for that.
