Scaffolding up ready for Roger repairing the chimney.
He has been busy over the last couple of days taking out all the render where lots of weeds were growing. The chimney pot had hair…wild hair at that too.
He’s been a trouper as the weather has not been kind to builders up on a roof in all this heat especially when suffering from having a wisdom tooth out on Tuesday.
Three good things:
1. Harry has had his clips out this morning. He will be much more comfortable now although he’s shattered tonight.
2. We visited the bungalow & so pleased with it all. Phil has even moved a large shrub, replanted it, moved a garden shed where the shrub was & put the extra soil in the middle beds & rotovated them ready for re seeding! Builder extraordinaire!
3. A little bit cooler today so much pleasanter.
I must apologise for my erratic commenting….seem to always be busy at the moment so I answer some of you & not others which is not good but be assured I read all your comments & appreciate every one!
@julzmaioro@busylady No this is our daughter & son in laws house where we are staying at the moment. It’s a very tall house & we are only single story!
You got me confused too Pat !! Good that Harry has had the clips out - they must have been pulling and uncomfortable by now !! Hope with the cooler weather in front of us = he will feel less tired ! I know I shall ! this heat is so draining !
Geeze, I thought this was your place for a moment too ... I thought to myself that I'd missed a lot of progress! Furniture, already?! However, I'm with it now! Lovely capture of men at work. Glad Harry is progressing.
