Had a quick visit to Blackpool this afternoon & after my shopping instead of walking in the wind & rain onto the promenade I came out of the car park & drive along the promenade.
Parked up & walked over the tram lines onto the front…..I was pleased there was a nice storm cloud lurking over the Lake District in the north.
My hip was sore & the boots I had on were rubbing my toe….was glad to get home!
Three good things:
1. I had my pac-a-Mac in the boot of the car, it came in very handy as the wind & rain was awful…..
2. A bargain wok from TKMax suitable for an induction hob.
3. We went to the Coffee Stop at our old church…..lots of chat & our newly retired son in law had his apron on helping out!
What a super view - the gold of the sand and prom. giving such a contrast to the ominous black clouds above , great pov and leading lines ! Love it and a fav.
Nice to find a bargain in spite of your poor hip and sore toe !

Oh how I hate to have shoes that start hurting my feet snd I’m not close to home! So nice your son in law is embracing retirement and not just sitting at home! That’s quite a storm cloud, great capture of the scene.
