Lots of stalls at the Christmas fair…Cathy bought a wreath among other things. I went mad & bought some kitchen wipes & raffle tickets.
Garth’s ticket was the first out of the hat!
Three good things:
1. Telephone calls this morning trying to gee our workman along to finish off. We managed to talk to them all in person.
2. Harry has sold his log splitter.
3. The snow has disappeared!
Looks lovely!! I must make an effort and create a Christmas wreath for the door. I managed to salvage the frame from the one I have had for a couple of years.
Log splitting must be quite hard work so good to be able to buy logs ready to use. I must say a log burning stove sounds very appealing!
We still have our log splitter and use it every year. Although we do buy some lots ready split, sometimes they are huge and need splitting again. We also have logs given us by friends when they have trees lopped.
@maggiemae I only saw two people with masks on that afternoon maggie. We have got quite blasé about wearing them & mixing as most of us are double if not triple vexed . We have cases still but generally people aren’t getting as ill so learning to live with as we have to. Masks are mandatory from tomorrow though as this new South African variant slowly spreads. Not sure yet how dangerous it is.
@julzmaioro I actually did Julz those wipes were amazingly expensive! Luckily I like them. I didn’t know the price when I said I would buy them if the lady who bought our old farmhouse in 1999. She sells Norwex cleaning products which are excellent but expensive! I gad to go home & do a bank transfer!!!!
Peter still has his log splitter but he has started ordering some of his wood now, ready split.
