Lake Windermere

A quick trip up the M6 today to visit the Lake District.
It takes us about 50 minutes at the most & I have no idea why we don’t go more often.
Cathy & Garth are up there for a few days at the holiday cottage so we had a day out.
Lake Windermere was very calm, no wind at all.

Three good things:
1. The best scones I have ever eaten at Brockhole Visitor Centre.
2. Connie loves the Lake District.
3. I have quite a few photos in the bag for the next few days for 365.

@maggiemae Strangely I did use rotate when I put it up…looking at it it is a bit skew-itch but I can’t be bothered maggie. We didn’t get back until late so it I’d a quick upload tonight.

My sister and I felt right at home at Lake Windermere…the geology is the same as the Finger Lakes area where we grew up in Upstate New York!
