Three good things:
1. Our youngest sons birthday!
2. Much needed rain.
3. I visited the bowlerthon…24 hours bowing from 10.30 am yesterday to 10.30am this morning! A long night. Our electrician organised it in memory of our recently deceased painter.
Your place looks cosy and homely with the glow of the fire. It is nice your painter could be remembered in this way so friends could pop around to chat about the good times.
So cosy and homely Pat , We woke up to rain this am and have had a few spattering of rain in the day , Nothing better than a cosy corner and newspapers on such a day !
Nice to see around your living area - the fire is definitely a focus and a bonus for colder weather! I read the papers online and so don't have tons of paper to get rid of!
@maggiemae We always have lots of papers but they are always in demand by family & a friend for lighting the fire! I save them all in the bottom drawer on the right there!
Thank you all so much, we are pleased with this room, I sat on the sofa facing the road side so I could se people passing & dogs drinking out of our bowl & Harry sat facing the garden so he could see the birds! Actually it was very quiet everywhere so most doing the same as us!!
The Bowlerthon sounds like a nice way to pay tribute yo your painter..
