We have been out & about today!
A glorious winter day with a bit of snow on the hills & pure blue sky. We had to defrost the window screen before we set off to meet Cathy & Garth who then drove us the the lovely little town of Kirkby Lonsdale.
A potter round the shops….Harry bought some gloves & a bobble hat in the sale.
Lovely lunch at The Royal Hotel & a sausage for Connie!
I’m guessing Swine Market is where they used to sell pigs in the old days. There is a cottage there called Weigh Bridge Cottage, speaks for itself really!
Our electricity was off today for repair so a good day to pick!
Lovely British village scene - straight out of history! So many little villages around - we used to say about Britain - just over the hill and another village. Not so in NZ.
Glad you are out and about again. Hope all is going well. I am sure you will make a full recovery and back to your old self soon.
