The first snow of the winter…..it looks pretty!
We never liked snow before, it’s hard work farming in the snow & doing jobs outside. Frozen water troughs too are a very time consuming task.
These days we quite like snow….I sent this photo to our sons in NZ who are having quite hot weather at the moment…well South Island is!
We walked into the village, met friends & had our lunch in the Courtyard cafe.
How lovely it looks with a smattering of snow - -just not too much but enough to make everything looking beautiful and clean. Love the hint of colour in the morning sky. It sounds you had a lovely day Pat with no worries of the farm at winter!
It does look pretty, but can imagine it's a problem for farmers..
Finally had some nice days here and been able to do some haulage.. cutting more today.
Snow does look beautiful but still too cold for me. I don't think I could cope with cold these days. It must have been difficult when you were farming.
Very hot here at the moment too, we are out for a picnic lunch at a friend's house today. We each take some food and share. There will be about 18 of us so a lovely get-together.
