Help

Could I ask any if the gardeners out there if you know if this plant is a weed?
It’s growing in our wall & doing really well but I have a feeling it’s a weed!
No flowers in sight & it’s spreading everywhere!
Would be grateful for any info.

I used my plant identifier app but that doesn’t seem to know either…it gives quite a few guesses one being New Zealand spinach!!

Could it be convolvulus, that’s another guess? No I don’t think so, Ive just googled & the leaves on this one are too stiff & fleshy.

Ooh ! Pat , without a flower it is so difficult , but I think it may be a weed -- I have a feeling it will have a small white flower!! Before now I have let an unknown grow till it flowers before deciding it is a weed!!

My app says it’s chickweed.

I showed this to David and he doesn't know what it is, but he did say if it is growing like wildfire, and you haven't planted it the chances are it will be a weed.

My app agrees that it is chickweed and should grow small flowers.

My app also says common chickweed which is a weed. It will pull out easily.

Oh, yes, chickweed. We used to feed it to our tadpoles/frogs when we were kids!

I would say chick weed.. NZ spinach is a bigger leaf.. I get Chickweed in my garden and its a real pain, years ago I was weeding the garden when my then 10 year old nephew was staying, and I made a comment 'This damn chick weed is a pain' and he said 'It is very good for womans problems',, I told him the only problem this woman had was chickweed.. His Mum was a bit of a herbalist..
