Harry & I had some little visitors tonight, the neighbours two small children came to the back door trick or treating. We have never had anyone call on us before so we didn't know what to give them at first !!! Harry had some creme eggs stashed away in the freezer so they each had one of those & went away quite happy !!!
Mum was hiding round the corner !!!
Awww - I'm nearly having a crisis myself since my offspring decimated my sweet supply before the first trick or treaters arrived! Luckily they're all being very polite and only taking one each!
That's such a cute story and an adorable photo, Pat! Good for Harry for saving the day with the creme eggs. :) I'm all set for a horde of trick-or-treaters tonight. Last year I ran out of candy and had to start giving out granola bars which were actually a big hit.
great work Pat, the little lad has a nice happy smile .........happypat makes a happy smile .....and all for a cream egg :) ...isn't life simple when you are under 5 :)
@peggysirk Harry sometimes comes with me to the cash & carry & always gets tempted by boxes of sweets which he puts in the fridge but never eats !!! He still has an Easter egg from 2010 in there still !!! Came in handy today though !!!!
We don't get any trick or treaters here. We live so far off the road no one walks all the way back here. I do have a bag of candy, just in case. Guess we be eating it tomorrow.
