Donkey ride.

The donkeys were out on the beach in Blackpool & as it's half term there were quite a few customers.

I'm sure I've told you my Blackpool donkey story but I'll tell it again! 1980, I was 8, trip to England. Blackpool donkey would hardly move on the way down the beach but on the way back he full out ran. Scared the hell out of me! One of the only things I remember about that trip!

@shutterbugger Oh Jenn I can just imagine that, these donkeys can be unpredictable!!!! Sorry to remind you of a scary time!! We over wintered two donkeys once on the farm, never again! One of them used to get hold of a sheep by the scruff of it's neck & shake the hell out of it plus they were always escaping!!

Are they saddled together? Donkeys are predictable in the way they really don't want to do what they are told. I do love them though. Nowdays, the donkeys are all well looked after - the ones on the beach.
