Fingers crossed! There was nearly a duck catastrophe when I was driving Monty home - two males chasing a female in to the busy road. A cyclist coming along made them change direction luckily!
These are such wonderful shots. I met a woman today, who actually lives in France, while I was in the meadow and on telling her about your ducks she said she had a pair of Muscovy ducks who in the past had had 24 ducklings! Not sure if they all survived but the ducks are now about 9yrs.
@jennywren wow that beats the record.....how lovely that they have stayed close to home too. Slightly worried about all these arriving rvery day under our bird table ...think of the mess!
