Well, up until a few years ago, I would have said definitely a Eucalypt and my guess would be Eucalyptus Ptychocarpa. Did it have big leaves?
However, they have split what I knew of the Eucalyptus genus up and all of the bloodwoods are now called Corymbia. So today, it is called Corymbia Ptychocarpa.
