He/she is lovely. We had a resident blue tongue who hibernated under our wood shed every year for 14 years and she gave birth to a huge amount of babies over the years. She didn't turn up last year so I suspect she has gone to that great paddock in the sky. Her suitor who we called Stumpy because of his partly lost tail turned up a couple of weeks ago looking for her though, but has now moved on to new ground.
@onewing Thank you Babs, this extended family has been with us & our neighbors either side for 10 years.. In winter they like to be under our hot water system. They have produced many offspring too & the saddest thing to happen was. one morning opening our front door one of our beautiful lizards had been run over right outside....
@phil_sandford Thanks Phil, this family lives in our garden & our neighbors either side....they are a delight & bring their babies out to sun with them.....
@elatedpixie Thanks so much for liking & for the Fav...He?? didn't move & I stood right beside him, they have been with us in our garden for 10 years...
@ninaganci Thanks Nina & for the Fav...he is pretty harmless & can run quite fast. In the garden he sticks his blue tongue out of a huge mouth to scare you.
