Film Week, Day 7: Brazil

Film week concludes with Terry Gilliam's beautiful, Orwellian, 1985 film, Brazil.

I had started the week with grand ideas, choosing seven of my favourite films to depict, but it all fell apart when I chose The Big Lebowski for day 1, and had no idea how to depict it. I considered a scene recreated in Lego, or some key elements from the film put together, but I just couldn't get a urine stained rug, a bowling ball and a severed toe together at short notice.

So I decided to go for directors instead. But that failed when I couldn't get a shot of 'Birds' on day 2 so resorted to desperate measures and a director I had not really heard of (and still didn't manage to get Hitchcock in. Or the Cohen brothers for that matter).
Yes I agree - lots of films but depicting them is another matter eg Shawshank Redemption (which i haven't even seen)Twins (try and find any when you want them)Birds (fat pigeons in the garden not as scary as a flock of gulls would have been)...and on and on
