"Oh joy," I thought, when Jan said that she had bought some daffodils today, "something relevant to photograph for St David's Day".
I was a little disappointed, however, when I went in to the dining room this evening expecting a shock of yellow, to be greeted by a clump of green twig-like buds. Not quite the image that I had envisaged.
The main saving grace was that this one looks like it has a smiley face on it. Happy St David's Day.
