Another beautiful day. Sun, blue skies, and warmish, again. We spent the whole day in the garden. I cut up two fallen trees, that came down in the winds a few weeks ago, shredding a lot of the branches, marked the garden boundary ready for more hedge planting, tidied up the window frame that the burglers damaged, mended the gate catch, and fixed up the nest box camera.
The first time this year that I have seen the bees flying, brining out their dead and cleansing flights, although not much for them to forage yet. Spring is here!
@ruthhowell Yes, and kind of. We currently (hopefully) have three hives, just coming out of winter, assuming that the queens survived. Last year we got no honey - nothing at all - because of the awful weather, but we had quite a lot the year before, which was our first year.
