We are refinancing our mortgage, which is apparently the thing to do these days... They sent someone over to assess the value of the house (I'm assuming they want to make sure that on the inside the whole thing is not being held up with toothpicks or something!) I told Finn that a man was coming to look at the house and he immediately armed himself, ready for guard duty. He then proceeded to follow the man around the house, with rifle, to make sure he wasn't up to any funny stuff! (Actually he just talked the guys ear off about anything and everything - like he usually does!!) Either way, the house was safe and all is well!
It is a Russian army hat - David had one for some reason. Although his gun is a "Kentuckian" that we got at Fort Ticonderoga this summer. So it's a bit of a culture clash! :)
He looks a bit like a Russian soldier from the 80's! (Nikita-Elton John-ish)
