Here is Finn on his way to his first den meeting for Cub Scouts. He has been ridiculously excited about joining all summer so I'm a little nervous the experience is not going to live up to expectations. But so far so good. He had a good time. Earlier in the day, as I leaned over his uniform, desperately hoping I was putting his badges on correctly, I had such a overwhelming feeling of being a "mother." This is what Moms do, isn't it? And this picture is why we do it...
That's amazingly cute!! I hope he really does get a lot of fun out of the scouts. And I completely understand the "Mom" moment comment... I've had a few of those myself. Go, Finn!
