My youngest was home sick from school today so I let him help me with a "recipe." (If I don't help him, he usually just takes it upon himself to start mixing things up in the kitchen when I'm not looking so I figured I would cut him off at the pass...) I was told we were making a birthday cake for Franklin Pierce (President #14) since he just turned 206 last week. Just FYI, I am no longer occasionally amazed by this child - I am in a constant state of freak out!! :)
