I may have mentioned that my garden is a wreck this year. (I may actually mention that every year...) We came back from vacation a couple of weeks ago and my flower pot had been overtaken by a gigantic weed posing as a tree. I would have pulled it, but then I realized it had these really cool purplish flowers blooming on top. So, as is my custom, if it looks cool enough, I leave it be... This summer it seems I am leaving more be than not! :-)
You may not be a good gardener, but I would judge that you are a good botanist -- appreciating the plants that have especially selected your yard for their home.
