For some reason, even blizzards have names these days! I couldn't resist pulling a Stanley Kowalski for this one...
Blizzards in March deserve no tolerance if you ask me... We were hit pretty hard - a tree down blocking the driveway - on top of the foot or so of snow (hard to tell with the wind) but at least we all stayed warm and cozy - with electricity - in the house. This flock of Red Winged Blackbirds could not say the same I'm afraid. They spent most of the day - in ever growing numbers it seemed - coming and going from our feeders throughout the storm. I bet they are regretting their decision to head back north so soon. I know I would be... :-)
We skyped with Heather and she held the phone to the window...OMG...so sorry about that...and the blowing wind! She said they'd even closed the entire mall where she works!
I suppose you don't care that I took my lunch into the back yard to enjoy some sunshine...
@Weezilou Well Louise, if I could have joined you for that lunch in the sunshine, I would have done it in a minute! ;) Hope Heather and family made it through the storm alright. Just more fun of the New England Winter! :)

I didn't think so!
