Fallen

I was after a similar shot as attempted (but not posted) yesterday as the morning light shone through a tarpaulin on a large building project in Bedford to reveal the activity behind in shadow. When I passed by this morning there was no sunlight to shine and the scene deserved not a second glance. As it was brighter coming home, I realised that I would have to look from the opposite side to take advantage of the sun and so took a walk round the back of the County Courts to see what I could see from the river facing part of the building site. Nothing.

But this did catch my eye.... fallen to the base of a dirty and unused office window, some interesting pictures and magazines. I thought the whole scene had a lot to say .......
What an eye you had! This makes for a very pleasing photo...

This is great Helen. The glamour and the squalor - such a contrast and certainly saying a lot.

Well spotted. It is a very moody shot, very like a scene from a fifties film.
